A male pedestrian was hit by a pickup truck on Atlanta Street Friday morning at about 8:10 a.m.
Initial indications were the man suffered injuries to his arm and leg that were not life-threatening.
The incident occurred right in front of Antiques on Atlanta, the starting point for the Peaches to Beaches event. Big crowds are expected downtown and along Hwy. 341 South today and tomorrow so watch for pedestrians and other vehicles.
