Until she decides if she will appeal, Lisa Dziedzic is still the chairman of the Board of Assessors, according to county attorney Scott Mayfield. ”During the interim 30 days she’s still on the board and, unless she’s voted out, she’s still the chair,” said Mayfield. In fact, should Dziedzic choose to appeal her removal Jan. 28 by county commissioners, she would remain on the board until her appeals are exhausted. Appeals are made to Lamar County superior court.
