A home on Perdue Rd. was completely destroyed in a fire that broke out about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to tax records the home and 141 acres are owned by Joe Brown Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio. The home, at 141 Perdue Road, was fully engulfed in flames when called in to 911. Firefighters could only confine the fire to the home in high winds. They were hampered by a shortage of water and ammunition in the house that cooked off. There was no report of injuries.
