A host of dignitaries – some of whom came from as far away as Los Angeles – was in town today for groundbreaking ceremonies at the Piedmont Green Power construction site in Legacy Park. Some 85 people braved bitter cold at the site but warmed up at a reception at the Barnesville Civic Center afterwards.
