Phyllis Sullivan Walker

Phyllis Sullivan Walker, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015. Born August 15, 1963 to the late Charlie Clarence Sr. and the late Mattie Sullivan. She joined East Mount Sinai Baptist Church and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she was a Deaconess, church secretary and in the Hospitality Ministry. In 1983, she wed John Perry Walter Jr. and had two daughters. She was preceded in death by brothers, Randy Sullivan and Charlie Clarence Sullivan Jr. Survivors include her husband, Perry Walker of Barnesville; daughters, Marquita Jenee Walker of Barnesville, Brittany Walker of Smyrna, Tiffany Miller of Woodbridge, Va., Courtney Hill (Brian Sr.) of Acworth, Georgette Banks and Alyssia Anderson, both of Barnesville; grandchildren, Jayden Walker Redding, Karmen Barkley and Jace Gray, all of Barnesville; brother, Stephen Sullivan of Barnesville; sisters, Bonita (Stanley) Barrett of Sumter, S.C., Charleen Mathis and Shelia Stafford, both of Griffin; aunt, Annie Ruth Welch of Barnesville; mother-in-law, Catherine Walker of Barnesville; sisters-in-law, Autury Park, Jackie (Larry) O’Neal, both of Barnesville; brothers-in-law, Andre Walker, and Leon Walker of Barnesville; Godchildren, Patricia White Banks and Mikyle McGee of Barnesville, Brian Hill Jr. of Acworth, Kalilah Middlebrooks, Aquielle Middlebrooks, Tanisha Hughley, and Shay Shoats of Griffin; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends who will also cherish her memory. Services were held Friday, May 15, 2015 at East Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Rev. Keith Battle officiated. Bentley and Sons Funeral Home, Barnesville, had charge of arrangements.
