Police Report

Between Friday, Aug. 24, and Friday, Aug. 31, the Barnesville police department made two arrests: Warren Johnson, 36, 304 Parker Branch Rd., Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Willie Foster, 44, 1508 Crossings Place, Griffin, no insurance, giving false name to law enforcement officer and driving while license suspended. Officers answered 88 calls for service including two fights, three animal complaints, one criminal trespass, two open doors, one prowler, one welfare check, one burglary, six domestics, one subject with firearm, seven foot patrols, six suspicious persons/vehicles, nine accidents, 15 escorts, seven alarms, one fire, two damage to property, one harassing phone call, one improper parking and one lost or mislaid property. They issued 11 citations including one criminal trespass, one expired tag, one driving while license suspended or revoked, one no insurance, one driving in the wrong direction, two following too closely, one giving false name to officer, two disorderly conduct and one possession of alcohol under age.
