Police Report

Between Saturday, Sept. 15, and Friday, Sept. 21, the Barnesville police department made 11 arrests: Shannon Brown, 41, 472 Skinners Bypass, Milner, headlight violation and DUI: Timothy Hughley, 43, 134 Lovejoy Rd., Barnesville, obstructing law enforcement officers, DUI, false imprisonment, resisting arrest, fleeing and attempting to elude and driving while license suspended; Christopher Walker, 29, 394 Atlanta St., Barnesville, criminal trespass; Quentin Dukes, 28, 101 Sims St., Barnesville, criminal trespass; Bryan Buckner, 23, 39 Jackson St., Barnesville, criminal trespass; Shawn Wommack, 52, 2045 Rocky Bottom Rd, The Rock, disorderly conduct; Rhett Howard, 19, 6752 Highland Pointe Place, Monroe, possession of alcohol by a minor and disorderly conduct; Zachary Long, 18, 2420 Danbury Ct. SE, Conyers, possession of alcohol by a minor and disorderly conduct; Tavaris Proctor, 18, 15 Heritage Pointe Dr., Covington, possession of marijuana; Jesse Barkley, 58, 101 Shannon Lane, Barnesville, DUI; Michael Nicholson, 38, 1591 Deerfield Farms Rd., Monticello, driving a motorcycle without a helmet and driving while unlicensed. Officers answered 104 calls for service including one animal complaint, one juvenile complaint, one theft, four prowlers, four domestics, 22 foot patrols, six suspicious persons/vehicles, one speeding, one accident, one hit and run, 14 escorts, four alarms, one fire, two damage to property, two school crossing duty, one improper parking and five wanted or stolen. They issued 34 citations including one driving while license suspended or revoked, one driving while unlicensed, 12 speeding, one no helmet, two DUI, one failure to stop or yield, one headlight violation, one simple battery, five disorderly conducts, three loitering, four criminal trespass and two possession of alcohol under age.
