Police Report

Between Saturday, Sept. 29, and Friday, Oct. 5, the Barnesville police department made four arrests. Lafolson Pate, 29, 596 Brood Rd., Barnesville, DUI and speeding; Elvin Caslin, 36, 314 Sims St., Barnesville, giving false name to an officer and resisting arrest; Marcus Williams, 23, 103 11th St., Barnesville, probation violation; Jamira Dumas, 21, 228 Washington St., probation violation. Officers answered 92 calls for service including three fights, one animal complaint, two loud music, one criminal damage to property, one burglary, eight domestics, 25 foot patrols, six suspicious persons/vehicles, one suicide attempt, six speeding, three accidents, eight escorts, three alarms and one 911 hangup. They issued 21 citations including two no license on person, one noise violation, 11 speeding, one DUI, one child safety seat violation, two disorderly house, one giving false name and two resisting arrest.
