Between Saturday, March 16, and Friday, March 22, the Barnesville police department made 11 arrests: Jason Herndon, 23, 299 Pitts Rd., Meansville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Kourtny Rawls, 19, 155 Greenland Dr., McDonough, theft by shoplifting; Devina Rolle, 20, 227 Spindletop Way, Stockbridge, shoplifting; Kassian Driver, 29, 533 N. 8th St., Griffin, driving while license suspended or revoked; Kentavius Jones, 20, 122 Lake Terr., McDonough, resisting arrest, simple battery and possession of marijuana; Kelis Collier, 21, 404A Holmes St., Barnesville, simple battery; Terry Brown, 41, 106 Roger Brown Rd., Barnesville, probation violation; Courtney Bates, 21, 939 Silver Dollar Rd., Milner, possession of marijuana; Deundra Brown, 18, 235 Union Hill Rd., Forsyth, driving while unlicensed and wrong way on a one way road; Reginald James, 24, 627 Greenwood St., Barnesville, DUI; Tyler Brookins, 20, 1199 Trotters Run, Marietta, possession of marijuana. Officers issued 43 citations including four possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one driving while license suspended, two driving while unlicensed, one no license on person, one expired driver’s license, 12 speeding, one DUI, one driving the wrong way on one way roadway, one failure to yield at intersection, one failure to stop at stop or yield sign, one failure to yield at yield sign, four child safety seat violations, two seat belt violations, three open container, two shoplifting, one simple battery and four resisting or interfering with arrest.
