Police Report

Between Saturday, March 23, through Friday, March 29, the Barnesville police department made five arrests: Imani Gates, 18, 419 College Dr., Melton Hall 308, Barnesville, theft of lost or mislaid property and financial transaction card fraud; Rejaniece Young, 18, 1608 Circlestone Dr., Stone Mountain, theft by receiving stolen property worth less than $500 and forgery; Rickey Bradley, 50, 609 and 1/2 Zebulon Street Barnesville, battery; Orenthius Perkins, 32, 137 Willis Cir., Forsyth, speeding and driving while license suspended; Kelis Collier, 26, 322 Sims St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct (quarrel, fight, boisterous). Officers answered 54 calls for service including one fight, one animal complaint, one loud music, two domestics, 22 foot patrols, four suspicious persons/vehicles, three speeding, one accident, five escorts, three alarms and two school crossing duty. They issued 22 citations including one leash law violation, one driving while license suspended or revoked, eight speeding, one laying drag, four window tint violation, two child safety seat violations, one open container, one disorderly conduct, one resisting or interfering with arrest and one obstruction.
