Police Report

Between Wednesday, March 27, and Friday, April 5, the Barnesville police department made five arrests: Rickey Bradley, 50, 609 1/2 Zebulon St., Barnesville, battery ; Timmy Alford, 33, 402 Atlanta St., Barnesville, criminal trespass, theft by taking and theft by receiving stolen property; Wanda Coleman, 52, 3091 Colonial Way, Apt. 2, Atlanta, open container violation and DUI; British Wyke, 24, Atlanta Street, burglary and warrant from Henry County; Ashley Roberts, 19, 5857 Blacktop Way, Fairburn, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Officers answered 55 calls for service including two fights, two animal complaints, three domestics, 15 foot patrols, four suspicious persons/vehicles, two speeding, three accidents, four escorts, one alarm, one assist and one school crossing duty. They issued 25 citations including two animal leash law violations, one animal running at large, one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one expired tag, one no license on person, three speeding, one laying drag, one open container, one DUI refusal, one driving wrong way on one way street, one following too closely, one failure to yield, one failure to stop, six safety belt violations, one criminal trespass, one theft by taking and one theft by receiving.
