Between Friday, May 24, and Friday, May 31, the Barnesville police department made six arrests:Donald Edge, 52, 227 Jackson St., Barnesville, simple battery;Catrina Harris, 41, 3805 N. 58th St., Tampa, Fla., driving while license suspended and speeding;Jose Castro, 33, 311 Pleasant Grove Rd., Yatesville, driving without a license;Larry Brown, 38, 106 Roger Brown Dr., Barnesville, DUI;Darrin Crawford, 46, 548 Cook Rd., Griffin, improper backing and DUIEugene C. Worthy, 22, 140 Atlanta St., Barnesville, probation violation.Officers answered 56 calls for service including three animal complaints, two thefts, three loud music, nine domestics, two foot patrols, four suspicious person/vehicle, one suicide attempt, two speeding, five accidents, two escorts, three alarms and one damage to property.They issued 29 citations including one failure to keep animal under restraint on property, two driving with a suspended license, two driving without a license, 11 speeding, one improper backing, three DUIs, one failure to stop at stop or yield sign, one tire violation, two child safety seat violations, one simple battery, one disorderly conduct, one criminal trespass and two obstruction.
