Police Report

Between Saturday,June 15, and Saturday, June 22, the Barnesville police department made four arrests:Michael Caslin, 17, 4th St., Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Johntavious Walker, 18, 182 Howard Rd., Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Kristal Hardy, no age given, 109 Huckleberry Lane, Griffin, driving while license suspended;Shakendra Hicks, 21, 103 Parkview Dr., Barnesville, driving without a license.Officers had 68 calls for service including two fights, three security checks, five loud music, one runaway, one burglary, four domestics, two 911 hangups, one foot patrol, two suspicious person/vehicle, five speeding, one accident, seven escorts, three alarms, two damage to property, three harassing phone calls and one mental subject. They issued 21 citations including two expired tags, one no insurance, one driving with a suspended tag, nine speeding, one impeding traffic, one open container, one light violation, two child safety belt violations, one loud noise/music, one giving false name to officer and one no through trucks.
