Between Monday, June 22, and Saturday, June 29, the Barnesville police department made one arrest:Ja’Nay Thorton, 17, 923 Ward Dr., Barnesville, simple battery.Officers answered 101 calls for service including two fights, three security checks, one theft, five loud music, one burglary, one child custody case, five domestics, two 911 hangups, nine foot patrols, five suspicious person/vehicle, one traffic light out, six speeding, one accident, one intoxicated driver, eight escorts, seven alarms, one damage to property, one harassing phone calls and two assists. They issued 18 citations including one leash law violation, one expired tag, ten speeding, one operating an off road vehicle on the roadway, one light violation, one seat belt violation, one loud music, one open container and one simple battery.
