Police Report

Between Saturday, July 6, and Friday, July 12, the Barnesville police department made five arrests: Phillip Norman, 21, 814 Greenwood St., Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Trawick Moore Jr., 19, 112 Richardson St., Barnesville, disorderly acts of violence; Jason Brown, 25, 738 Greenwood St., Barnesville, criminal trespass; Johnny Caslin, 28, Moye Street, Barnesville, affray and battery; Gary Guglielmo, 21, 160 Pine St., Zebulon, criminal trespass, battery and aggravated assault. Officers answered 49 calls for service including one fight, one fireworks, one criminal trespass, one burglary, two domestics, one subject with firearm, one foot patrol, six suspicious persons/vehicles, two suicide attempts, five alarms and one harassing phone calls. They issued 19 citations including one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, three driving with a suspended license, two driving without a license, one waiting more than 30 days to get a Georgia drivers license, one impeding the free flow of traffic, one striking fixed object, one failure to maintain lane, two failure to stop at stop or yield sign, one headlight violation, one child safety restraint violation, two seat belt violations, one public drunkenness, one disorderly acts of violence and one criminal trespass.
