Between Saturday, July 20, and Friday, July 26, the Barnesville police department made six arrests:Dercoryis Love, 22, 209 Parsons St., Forsyth, simple battery;Aaron Head, 18, 419 High Falls Rd., Barnesville, criminal trespass;Dan Merritt, 62, 10 Jenkins St., Barnesville, probation violation;Quintin Willis, 23, 250 Long Dr., McDonough, simple battery;Charles Williams, 25, 719 Hallyburton St., Apt. B, Griffin, disorderly public drunkenness;Kenneth Lyons, 57, 401 Westchester Dr., Barnesville, driving while license suspended or revoked.Officers answered 53 calls for service including six fights, one criminal trespass, three domestics, four foot patrols, seven suspicious persons/vehicles, two accidents, one intoxicated pedestrian, four escorts, four alarms, three damage to property, one mental subject and five wanted or stolen. They issued eight citations including one driving while license suspended or revoked, one failure to stop at stop or yield sign, one tag light violation, two simple battery, one public drunk and two criminal trespass.
