Police Report

Between Sunday, Aug. 11, and Saturday, Aug. 17, the Barnesville police department made three arrests:Emory Hall, 48, 237 Midway Rd., Barnesville, DUI alcohol and failure to maintain lane;Peter King, 54, 1826 Veterands Blvd., Dublin, obstruction;Linwood Smith, 51, 152 Lanette Cir., Barnesville, obstruction.Officers answered 43 calls for service including one animal complaint, three thefts, two domestics, seven foot patrols, five suspicious persons/vehicles, one accident, three escorts, one civil matter and four alarms. They issued seven citations including one speeding, one DUI, one failure to maintain lane, one obstruction and two tampering with utilities.
