Police report

Between Saturday, Sept 7, and Saturday, Sept. 14, the Barnesville police department made two arrests:Anthony Turner, 23, 346 A Forsyth St., Barnesville, simple battery;Joshua Forsyth, 23, 439 Forsyth St., Barnesville, failure to maintain lane and DUI.Officers answered 53 calls for service including one animal complaint, 13 security checks, one burglary, two domestics, five foot patrols, four suspicious persons/vehicles, six speeding, six escorts and three alarms. They issued 24 citations including one violation of driving permit, 10 speeding, four failure to stop, one DUI, one failure to maintain lane, one light violation, one brake violation, one driving unsafe or improperly equipped vehicle, one safety belt violation, two loud music/noise and one simple battery.
