Between Sunday, Oct. 13, and Saturday, Oct. 19, the Barnesville police report made nine arrests:Demarcus Jenkins, 22, 136 12th St., Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Jonathan Newton, 25, 117 Freeman Ave., Forsyth, driving without a license;Jemele Brown, 20, 241 Mill St., Barnesville, sale, delivery or distribution of marijuana;Montavious Drake, 18, 5500 Convent Way, Lithonia, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Denzel Balan, 18, 10660 Starling Trail, Hampton, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Kazmier Hamilton, 18, 674 Dennis Harper Rd., Ambrose, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Adarius Caslin, 25, 109 Apt. A, Milner, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute;Mary Lyons, 46, 258 Wilson St., Barnesville, simple battery;Jelani Shakier, 18, 1327 Lucile Ave. S.W., Atlanta, driving without a license.Officers issued 15 citations including four possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, two driving without a license, one no license on person, three speeding, one laying drag or reckless conduct with auto, one failure to yield, one failure to stop, one lights violation and one headlight violation.
