Between Sunday, Oct. 27, and Friday, Nov. 1 the Barnesville police department made six arrests:Tommy Conley, 18, 10007 Wesley Providence Pkwy., Lithonia, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Samme Latner, 19, 2382 Old Mill Dr. S.W., Conyers, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Di Asia Beaman, 21, 110 San Marino Court, Fayetteville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Dezmon Dixon, 20, 352 N. 16th St., Griffin, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Michael Williams, 18, 1349 Billups St., Madison, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Daphne Evans, 20, 26 Sims St., Barnesville, headlight violation and driving on learner’s permit.Officers answered 51 calls for service including two fights, one animal complaint, one theft, one shoplifting, one loud music, one domestic, two 911 hangups, four suspicious persons or vehicles, two accidents, eight escorts, two alarms and one wanted or stolen.They issued 20 citations including five possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one operating a vehicle with a learner’s permit, one no license on person, four speeding, one headlight violation, two open container, four disorderly house and two tampering with utilities.
