Police Report

Between Sunday, Feb, 2, and Sunday, Feb. 9, the Barnesville police department made nine arrests: Joshua Moore 17, 200 Southland Dr., Apt. A-6, pointing or aiming firearms at another, aggravated assault, discharging firearm on private property and false imprisonment; Katey Turner, 19, 139 Johnson St., Barnesville, criminal trespass and aggravated assault; Onica Burke-Thompson, 27, 514 Johnstonville Rd., Barnesville, shoplifting and obstruction; Richard Swain, 20, 514 Johnstonville Rd., shoplifting; Michael Panker, 40, 122 Forest Lane, Barnesville, failure to stop or yield and driving while license suspended; Jonte’l Cox, 18, 510 Gray’s Chapel Rd., Yatesville, failure to stop or yield and driving without a license; Hondrevious Davis, 23, 134 Bush St., Barnesville, Pike County bench warrant; Johnny Caslin, 29, 204 Moye St., battery; Dominique Lovett, 23, 1534 Colony East, Stone Mountain, failure to stop and driving without a license; Officers answered 155 calls for service including one fight, one death, two animal complaints, two security checks, four thefts, two shoplifting, one criminal trespass, one forgery, one welfare check, four domestics, one assist, one fraud, 26 foot patrols, 13 suspicious persons/vehicles, five speeding, five accidents, one intoxicated pedestrian, nine escorts, nine alarms, two damage to property, two school crossing duty, one special detail, one unwanted person and two mental subjects. They issued 34 citations including one obscured tag, one no tag, one driving while license suspended or revoked, two driving without a license, one license not on person, one expired license, one no insurance, four speeding, one fair to yield on left turn, 17 failure to stop or yield, one headlight violation, two shoplifting and one resisting or interfering with arrest.
