Between Saturday, Feb. 9, and Saturday, Feb. 15, the Barnesville police department made one arrest: Contrerrie Taylor, 37, 607 Boxankle Rd. 2, Forsyth, simple battery. Officers answered 111 calls for service including one fight, one animal complaint, three security checks, two thefts, one shoplifting, one criminal damage to property, one prowler, one welfare check, two burglaries, six domestics, 29 foot patrols, 23 suspicious persons/vehicles, seven speeding, 11 accidents, nine escorts, three civil matters, five alarms and one harassing phone call. They issued 28 citations including one obscured tag, one concealed or misrepresented tag, three expired tags, one driving without a license, one expired license, five speeding, one striking fixed object, one passing in no passing zone, four failure to stop or yield, one headlight violation, two tag light violations, three seat belt violations, one simple battery and one no through trucks.
