Between Monday, March 31, and Sunday, April 6, the Barnesville police department made three arrests:Curtis Middlebrooks, 50, 1342 Ruth St., Griffin, disorderly conduct;Rodney Wood, 37, 118 Kate Ct., Barnesville, violation of temporary protection order;Charles Reed, 38, 192 Johnson St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct.Officers answered 143 calls for service including one animal complaint, one juvenile complaint, one security check, one theft, one threat, two burglaries, six domestics, one assist, 30 foot patrols, 10 suspicious persons/vehicles, five speeding, five accidents, one intoxicated driver, 13 escorts, one civil matter, four alarms, five damage to property, two 911 hangups and one unwanted person.They issued 20 citations including one no license on person, one driving with a suspended tag, four speeding, one failure to obey person directing traffic, two failure to obey traffic control device, one driving on wrong side of street, one improper passing, one following too closely, one failure to yield, one failure to stop, two safety belt violation, one open container, one giving false name to officer, and two disorderly conduct.
