Between Monday, May 12, and Sunday, May 18, the Barnesville police department made two arrests:Betsy Shultz, 39, 1560 Shackleford Rd., Griffin, Spalding County warrant;Jonathan Tarplee, 27, 316 Forsyth St., Barnesville, burglary.Officers answered 167 calls for service including one fight, two animal complaints, 15 security checks, one shoplifting, three loud music, 10 domestics, one child molestation, 67 foot patrols, 11 suspicious persons/vehicles, two accidents, one ambulance call, one intoxicated driver, one intoxicated pedestrian, seven escorts, one alarm, one damage to property, one 911 hangup, two unwanted people and two wanted or stolen.They issued 12 citations including one failure to maintain lane, three failure to stop or yield, one headlight violation, five seat belt violations and two child safety seat violations.
