Between Saturday, Aug. 1 and Friday, Aug. 7, the Barnesville police department made six arrests:Tara Jackson, 260 Roberts Rd., Barnesville, possession of marijuana and tag light violation;David Moss, 178 Old Hwy. 41, DUI and failure to maintain lane;Tim Roberts, 408 Forsyth St., Barnesville, burglary and theft by receiving stolen property;Roger Simmons, 200 Southland Dr., Barnesville, DUI and driving while license suspended;Tina Smith, 201 Olivia Lane, Barnesville, disorderly conduct;Aramis Walker, 1133 Spring Creek Cir., Griffin, possession of marijuana.Officers answered 79 calls for service including four accidents, four alarms one EMS assist, seven building security checks, one burglary, one criminal trespass, four damage to property, five disturbances, one dog complaint, four domestics, one entering an auto, 12 escorts, three fights, three fraud, three harassment, 14 miscellaneous, one noise complaint, two suspicious persons/vehicles, one terroristic threats, two thefts, three welfare checks and two 911 hang-ups. They issued three citations including one driving while license suspended, two DUI, one disorderly conduct, one failure to maintain lane, two possession of marijuana, one seat belt violation, four speeding and one tag light violation.
