Between Tuesday, July 29, and Sunday, Aug. 3, the Barnesville police department made one arrest: Xavier Boys, 33, 2083 Lake Park Dr., Smyrna, driving while license suspended or revoked. Officers answered 83 calls for service including five fights, one animal complaint, one theft, one shoplifting, one welfare check, eight domestics, 14 foot patrols, 12 suspicious persons/vehicles, two speeding, two accidents, five escorts and five alarms. They issued 17 citations including one vicious animal, one driving while license suspended or revoked, one improper U-turn, two speeding, two failure to stop, two brake or turning light violations, four seat belt violations, one open container, one shoplifting and two no through trucks.
