Between Saturday, March 28 and Friday, April 3, the Barnesville police department made 14 arrests:Terrell Amey, 71, Railroad St., Luthersville, probation violation;Steven Andrews, 333A Forsyth St., Barnesville, probation violation for Griffin;Freddie Byrd, 180 Mill St., Barnesville, warrant out of Monroe Co.;Debbie Carpenter, 1992 Andrew Chappel Rd., Thomaston, attemtping to obtain dangerous drugs by fraud;Raymond Carter, 1329 Carters Loop, Thomaston, probation violation;Kerry Gray, 10095 Commons Way, Jonesboro, theft by receiving stolen property (firearm);Marcus Harp, 339 Atlanta St., Barnesville, probation violation;Donna Hettick, 108 Liberty Trace, Milner, driving while under the influence, failure to maintain lane and no insurance;Felecia Holmes, 2 Miami St., Barnesville, probation violation;Stephen Myric, 8698 Redland Ct., Jonesboro, possession of marijuana;Steven Pond, 101 Spring Cir., Barnesville, probation violation;Marcus Williams, 103 11th St., Barnesville, battery, criminal trespass, obstruction of an officer and theft by taking;Terrel Wilson, 8341 Post Oak Court, Riverdale, possession of marijuana.Officers answered 126 calls for service including six accidents, eight alarms, two assist EMS, 37 building security checks, two burglaries, one criminal trespass, two crowd control, three damage to property, three disturbances, one domestic, 19 escorts, one fight, one fraud, one gas drive off, four harrassment, one hit and run, two juvenile complaints, seven miscellaneous, three noise complaints, two prowlers, one suicide attempt, 11 suspicious persons/vehicles, seven thefts, and one traffic control. They issued 23 citations including one contributing to the delinquency of a minor, one driving under the influence, one driving while unlicensed, one expired license, one expired tag, one failure to maintain lane, one failure to yield, one no insurance, two open container, five possession of alcohol underage, two possession of marijuana, five speeding, and one window tint violation.
