Between Monday, Aug. 18, and Friday, Aug. 22, the Barnesville police department made two arrests: Jason Kidd, 31, 705 Ann St., Griffin, criminal trespass; Lindsay Russell, 48, 203 Olivia Lane, Barnesville, criminal trespass. Officers answered 102 calls for service including one fight, 10 security checks, one missing person, two welfare checks, three burglaries, seven domestics, one assist, 13 foot patrols, five suspicious persons/vehicles, six speeding, four accidents, three ambulance calls, nine escorts, one fire and one 911 hangup. They issued 16 citations including one animal at large, one no license on person, four speeding, one improper passing, three failure to stop or yield, three seat belt violations, two criminal trespass and one no through trucks.
