Between Monday, Sept. 15, 2014 and Sunday, Sept. 21, the Barnesville police department made eight arrests:Isaac Penn, 28, 196 Washington St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct;Robert Zellner, 44, 13 Washington St., Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, forgery and theft by receiving stolen property;Robin Wright, 61, 126 Holmes St., Barnesville, disorderly;Marquez Amey, 23, 101 Ridgefield Dr., LaGrange, driving while license suspended or revoked;Alvin Gunn, 20, 7 Thornton St., LaGrange, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;Michael Goddard, 31, 217 Carleeta St., Barnesville, simple battery;Nigel Ellington, 24, 107 North St., Barnesville, DUIAki Reid, 19, 4900 Buckeye Place, Atlanta, six counts financial identity fraud.Officers answered 141 calls for service including seven fights, three animal complaints, 12 security checks, one vandalism, two welfare checks, two burglaries, seven domestics, one fraud, four subjects with firearm, 18 foot patrols, 18 suspicious persons/vehicles, three speeding, two accidents, three ambulances needed, six escorts, two civil matters, five alarms, one missing person, three damage to property, one improper parking, one unwanted person and two wanted or stolen.They issued 27 citations including two possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one driving while license suspended or revoked, one no insurance, one noise violation, five speeding, one DUI alcohol, one failure to stop or yield, one headlight violation, one golf cart light violation, one child safety seat violation, one open container, one giving false name to officer, three disorderlies, five in park after hours and two littering.
