Between Saturday, Oct. 18, and Sunday, Oct. 26, the Barnesville police department made five arrests: Matthew Wyley, 18, 214 Peachtree Glen, Ellenwood, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Austin Moten, 18, 424 Birchwood Dr., Bonaire, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Ronquerris Davis, 19, 111 Tuscany Lane, Griffin, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Zyetazja McArthur-Spruill, 18, 7583 Shumont Dr., Fayetteville, N.C., possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Jeral Nozil, 19, 236 Alexis Ave., Stockbridge, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Officers answered 228 calls for service including three fights, one animal complaint, two juvenile complaints, 30 security checks, two thefts, one threat, two burglaries, 19 domestics, one armed robbery, one subject with firearm, 34 foot patrols, 14 suspicious persons/vehicles, two suicide attempts, one motorist assist, four speeding, three accidents, 17 escorts, one civil matter, 13 alarms, three damage to property, two 911 hangups, one mental subject and one lost or mislaid property. They issued 24 citations are five possession of less than ounce of marijuana, 15 speeding, one failure to stop or yield, one light violation, one seat belt violation and one disorderly acts of violence.
