Between Saturday, Aug. 22, and Friday, Aug. 28, the Barnesville police department made six arrests:Annette Alexander, 200 Southland Dr., Barnesville, Monroe County warrant;Wilbur Brown, 9 Jackson St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct;Willie Jenkens, 256 Railroad St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct;Juanita Parson, 256 Railroad St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct;Curtis Passmore, 407 Woodall St., Barnesville, possession of marijuana;Michael L. Thomas, 2029 Drogheda, Marietta, DeKalb County warrant.Officers answered 76 calls for service including four accidents, four alarms, one EMS assist, 14 building security checks, three burglaries, one criminal trespass, two crowd control, three disturbances, one dog complaint, 16 escorts, one fight, two fraud, two harassment, six miscellaneous, four noise complaints, three shots fired, six suspicious persons/vehicles, one terroristic threat, one theft and two 911 hang-ups. They issued 29 citations including three disorderly conduct, one failure to stop at stop sign, three parking violations, one possession of marijuana, one seat belt violation, 18 speeding and two window tint violations.
