Police Report

Between Monday, Nov. 10, and Monday, Nov. 17, the Barnesville police department made one arrest: Christopher Blackmon, 22, 427 N. Main St., Thomaston, probation violation. Officers answered 153 calls for service including one fight, six animal complaints, two juvenile complaints, four security checks, one theft, one shoplifting, one criminal trespass, two welfare checks, two burglaries, 11 domestics, 43 foot patrols, nine suspicious persons/vehicles, four speeding, three accidents, 10 escorts, one civil matter, six alarms, two damage to property, one harassing phone call and one wanted or stolen. They issued 21 citations including one animal at large, two expired tags, one driving with suspended tag, five speeding, one leaving the scene of an accident with injury or damage, two failure to yield, one failure to stop, one window tint violation and seven seat belt violations.
