Police Report

Between Monday, Nov. 24, and Sunday, Nov. 30, the Barnesville police department made five arrests: Scotty Thomas, 54, 181 Johnson St., Barnesville, obstruction; Nephatia Morgan, 34, 228 Valley Hill Rd., Riverdale, fleeing and attempting to elude, disorderly conduct and obstruction; Arinade Gbogboade, 20, 164 Stafford Ave., Apt. 2, Barnesville, seat belt violation and driving while license suspended; Clarence Sensley, 41, 3830 Will Lee Rd., College Park, seat belt violation and driving while license suspended; Randy Haney, 50, 128 Fellowship Dr., Milner, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Officers answered 175 calls for service including four fights, four security checks, one theft, two loud music, one welfare check, one threat, two burglaries, five domestics, 53 foot patrols, eight suspicious persons/vehicles, four accidents, one hit and run, nine escorts, six alarms and one damage to property. They issued 75 citations including one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, seven expired tags, one operating a vehicle without International License Plan registration, two driving while license suspended or revoked, one driving without a license, one no license on person, one no insurance, three failure to maintain insurance, four driving with suspended tag, 23 speeding, one speeding in a construction site, one failure to stop, two striking fixed object, one failure to stop or yield, one headlight violation, two tail light violations, one obstructed view, two child safety seat violations, 16 seat belt violations, one disorderly fight, brawl or riotous conduct and two obstructions.
