Between Monday, Dec. 22, and Sunday, Dec. 28, the Barnesville police department made two arrests: Eugene Worthy, 23 245 Atlanta St., Barnesville, aggravated battery; James Rogers, 51, 1287 Hwy. 18, Barnesville, possession or distribution of methamphetamines. Officers answered 108 calls for service including two fights, two animal complaints, four security checks, one theft, three burglaries, five domestics, 41 foot patrols, five suspicious persons or vehicles, one suicide attempt, two speeding, two accidents, three ambulance calls, one hit and run, six escorts, 10 alarms, and one wanted or stolen. They issued 12 citations including one driving without a license, nine speeding, one striking a fixed object and one public drunkenness.
