Police report

Between Saturday, Aug. 29, and Friday, Sept. 4, the Barnesville police department made 11 arrests:  Josh Anderson, 106 Bypass Rd., Barnesville, five counts burglary;  Stephen DeWolfe, 106 Bypass Rd., Barnesville, five counts burglary; Furman Dodd, 136 Highridge Trail, Jackson, giving false name to a law enforcement officer; Charles Ford, 20 Packinghouse Rd., Statesboro, giving false name to a law enforcement officer; Charles Foster, 207 Akins St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Lewis Maynard, 608 Spencer St., Barnesville, criminal trespass; Gregg Richardson, Jackson Street, Barnesville, Lamar County warrant; Beatrice Ridley, 136 Highridge Trail, Jackson, speeding and driving while unlicensed; Josh Underwood, 319 Bush Rd., Barnesville, resisting or interfering with arrest; Adrian Warren, 87 Kemp St., Fort Valley, speeding, giving false name to law enforcement officer and driving while license suspended; Tomeka Watson, address unknown, Barnesville, Griffin warrant. Officers answered 112 calls for service including three accidents, six alarms, two EMS assists, 22 building security checks, two burglaries, four criminal trespass, six crowd control, six disturbances, one dog complaint, two domestics, 18 escorts, two fights, two gas drive offs, three harassment, one juvenile complaint, eight miscellaneous, five noise complaints, two prowlers, one robbery, one shoplifting, one shots fired, one stolen vehicle, five suspicious persons/vehicles, two terroristic threats, three thefts, one traffic control, one 911 hang-up and one welfare check. They issued 28 citations including one criminal trespass, two disorderly conduct, one driving while license suspended, one driving while unlicensed, three giving false name, one loud music, one no insurance, one resisting arrest and 17 speeding.
