Between Monday, Feb. 2, and Monday, Feb. 9, the Barnesville police department made two arrests: Jacob Wilson, 25, 239 Bottoms Rd., Barnesville, obstruction; Ronnie Morris, 44, 208 Indian Trail, Barnesville, Spalding County warrant. Officers answered 135 calls for service including one animal complaint, 10 security checks, one theft, one shoplifting, one open door, two burglaries, nine domestics, 15 foot patrols, 11 suspicious persons/vehicles, one speeding, four accidents, four ambulance needed, one hit and run, 15 escorts, one civil matter, seven alarms, two drug traffic and one harassing phone call. They issued 14 citations including two speeding, one failure to maintain lane or driving on wrong side of the road, two one way traffic violations, one failure to yield, five failures to stop and two seat belt violations.
