Between Monday, Feb. 9, and Monday, Feb. 16, the Barnesville police department answered 118 calls for service including: Seven fights or disorders, two animal complaints, 16 security checks, seven domestics, 15 foot patrols, nine suspicious people or vehicles, one suicide attempt, six speeding, four accidents, three ambulances needed, one license checkpoint, one intoxicated pedestrian, nine escorts and six alarms. They issued 11 citations including nine speeding, one striking fixed object and one following too closely.
