Between Monday, Feb. 16, and Monday, March 2, the Barnesville police department made four arrests:Stonie Sullivan, 47, 266 Railroad St., Barnesville, shoplifting;Demonte Wilder, 19, 9634 Woodloop Court, Jonesboro, possession of firearms during a crime and possession of more than an ounce of marijuana;Edwin Harris, 22, 1 Washington St., Barnesville, giving false name to officer;Ayo Simons, 18, 101 Owens Lane, Apt. 3, Barnesville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.Officers answered 263 calls for service including four fights, two animal complaints, two security checks, two thefts, one criminal trespass, one welfare check, three burglaries, nine domestics, 69 foot patrols, 21 suspicious people/vehicles, one suicide attempt, four speeding, 13 accidents, two ambulance calls, one intoxicated driver, one hit and run, 31 escorts, two civil matters, 15 alarms, one fire, two harassing phone calls, two DUI tests, two school crossing duties, two special details, four 911 hangups, one improper parking, one unwanted person, one mental subject and two wanted or stolen.They issued 16 citations including one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one failure to appear, six speeding, two following too closely, three failure to yield, one shoplifting, one giving false name and one obstruction.polie
