Police Report

Between Monday, March 2 and Sunday, March 8 the Barnesville police department made four arrests: Douglas Flournoy, 56, 466 Bradshaw Rd., Thomaston, warrant from another agency; Joshua Traylor, 21, 1305 Elm St., LaGrange, drugs, marijuana sale, deliver, distribute; Carlos Adams, 26, 101 Jackson St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Rickey Smith, 49, 305 Monty Dr., Athens, disorderly conduct. Officers answered 162 calls for service, including four fights, two animal complaints, one juvenile reports, one theft, one shoplifting, one criminal trespass, one burglary, 14 domestic problems, one fraud, 46 foot patrols, 10 suspicious person or vehicle, one suicide attempt, five accidents, two intoxicated pedestrians, nine escorts, one bond approval, three alarms activated, one mechanical break down, two harassing phone calls, one school crossing duty, four pickup prisoners/suspect, three mental subjects, 12 citations, one animal leash law, one wrong class of drivers license, one failure to maintain insurance, one failure to obey turning device, one speeding, one driving left of center, one failure to stop at stop/yield sign, two safety belt violations for children under 8 and one for 8 to 17 year olds and two disorderly conducts.
