Police Report

Between Monday, March 23 and Saturday, March 29, the Barnesville Police Department made two arrests: Kenny Brown, 37, Macon, driving on suspended license and Garrett Howard, 53, homeless Barnesville, theft of services. Barnesville police officers responded to 154 calls for service, including five fights, one animal complaint, two juvenile, 13 security checks, four thefts, one loud music complaint, one criminal trespass, one child custody case,eight domestic problems, 25 meet in person, 24 foot patrols, 12 suspicious persons or vehicles, 17 stopped persons or vehicles, five speeding, six accidents, one ambulance needed, one direct traffic, 12 escorts/convoys, one bond approval, one civil matter, four alarms activated, one drug traffic, two harassing phone calls, one 911 hang up, one pickup prisoner/subject, one improperly parked vehicle, three mental subjects; 22 citations, one animal leash law, one theft of services, three driving on suspended license, one operating with learner’s permit, one no insurance, one driving with suspended tag, nine speeding, one failure to maintain lane, one following too closely, one failure to stop at stop/yield sign, one headlight requirement and one disorderly conduct.
