Police report

Between Monday, April 20 and Saturday, April 25, the Barnesville Police Department made the following five arrests: Derek Jackson, 29, 746 Greenwood Street, driving on suspended license, first offense; Gerad Reid, 19, 112 Concord Lane, Madison, possession of marijuana less than one ounce; Isaiah Harris, 20, 5075 Memorial Dr., Stone Mountain, possession of marijuana less than one ounce; Torres Johnson,19, 164 Poythress Road, Newnan, possession of marijuana less than one ounce; Marquis Jennings, 19, 98 Weldon Way, Newnan, possession of marijuana less than one ounce. The police department responded to 169 calls for service, including seven fights, two animal complaints, 16 security checks, one theft, three burglaries, five domestic problems, 15 meet in persons, 27 foot patrols, 16 suspicious persons or vehicles, 16 stopping person or vehicles, one suicide or attempt, three speeding autos, seven accidents, one intoxicated pedestrian, one hit and run, nine escorts, one bond approval, one civil matter, eight alarms activated, one damaged property, one needed assistance, six pickup prisoner, 11 citations, four speeding and three shoplifting reports.
