Police report

Between Friday, Sept. 4, and Friday, Sept. 11, the Barnesville police department made six arrests: Jason Brown, 94 Rogers St., Barnesville, burglary;  Dontavious Carter, 130 Boxwood Lane, Woodbury, DUI, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane. Eric Cooper, 417 Country Kitchen Rd., Barnesville, shoplifting; Samuel Crownover, 300 Brook Rd., Barnesville, DUI; Jeffery Reeves, 338 Pine St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Martin Vasquez, 1509 Bush St., Barnesville, driving while license suspended. Officers answered 108 calls for service including nine accidents, 10 alarms, one battery, 20 building security checks, one burglary, three damage to property, eight disturbances, two dog complaints, two domestics, 15 escorts, one forgery, one fraud, one harassment, one juvenile complaint, 14 miscellaneous, one noise complaint, one shoplifting, 10 suspicious persons/vehicles, four thefts, one traffic control, one 911 hang-up and one welfare check. They issued 16 citations including two disorderly conduct, one driving while license suspended, two DUI, one failure to stop at stop sign, one failure to maintain lane, one following too closely, one loud music, one reckless driving, one shoplifting and five speeding.
