Police report

Between Monday, July 27 and Sunday, Aug. 2, the Barnesville Police Department made one arrest, including: Antwon Brantley, 29, 2394 Old Zebulon Road, Forsyth, possession of marijuana less than one ounce. The Barnesville Police Department answered 134 calls for service, including two fights or disorder reports, two animal or reptile complaints, 37 security checks, one burglary, 11 domestic problems, 12 meet in person requests, 10 foot patrols, eight suspicious person or vehicle reports, 14 stopping person/vehicle, one suicide or attempt, one assist motorist, two accidents, six ambulances needed, 15 convoy/escort, seven alarms activated, one school crossing duty, three pickup prisoner/subject, one lost/mislaid property and issued 16 citations, including one animal leash law, one possession of marijuana less than one ounce, one expired tag, one driving without license, three speeding, one running red light, one improper backing, one failure to maintain lane, one failure to stop at stop/yield sign, three safety belt violations (children under 8), one safety belt violation (18 and over) and one open container.
