Police report

Between Tuesday, September 1 and Monday, September 14, the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Mark Jackson, 54,2075 Highway 41, Forsyth, DUI alcohol; Warren Johnson, 39,304 Parker Branch Road, Barnesville, disorderly; Justin Fallin, 26, 196 Ellis Dairy Road, Orchard Hill, financial transaction card theft; There were 233 calls for service including, eight fights, seven animal/reptile complaints, 52 security checks, one littering, two loud music, two burglaries, 13 domestics, 33 foot patrols, 25 suspicious person/vehicle, one suicide/attempt, 11 stopping person/vehicle, 10 speeding, 16 accidents, two ambulance needed, one livestock/carcass on road, one intoxicated driver, one hit and run, 28 escorts, seven alarms, one drug traffic, six damage to property, two harassing phone calls and one 911 hang up. There were 53 citations including, two vicious animals, two operating a vehicle without a revalid tag/decal, one operating a vehicle without a valid tag/decal, four driving while license suspended or revoked, one no insurance, one noise violation, one driving with suspended tag, one failure to stop for school bus, six speeding, three failure to use turn signals, one leaving the scene of an accident, one duty to stop upon striking unattended vehicle, three DUI alcohol, one failure to maintain lane, three following too closely, two failure to yield while turning left, six failure to stop at stop sign, one failure to yield right of way, one failure to yield when entering crossroad, one tag light violation, two obstructed view, two safety belt violation, one seat belt violation, two open container, two disorderlies, one obstruction and one littering.
