Police Report

Between Monday, November 9 and Monday, November 16 the Barnesville Police Department arrested: Frederick Walker, 22, 177 Perdue Road., Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Dontae Banks, 29, 109 B Street, Barnesville, safety belt violation, driving on a suspended license and giving false name to officer; Cornellius Walker, 29, 301 Sims Street, Barnesville, obstructing law enforcement officers, sale, deliver or distribute marijuana, sale, deliver, distribute cocaine, possession of drug related object, drugs not in original container and failure to maintain lane. They answered 203 calls for service including: four fights, five animal complaints, 45 security checks, four thefts, one shoplifting, two loud music, one welfare check, three burglaries, three domestics, 22 meet in person, one subject with firearm, 33 foot patrols, 13 suspicious persons/vehicles, 11 stopping person or vehicle, three suicide/attempt, one assist motorist, four speeding, nine accidents, two ambulance needed, one directing traffic, 12 escorts, two bond approvals, two civil matters, 11 alarm activated, one drug traffic and damage to property. They issued 10 citations including: one driving on suspended license, one improper turn, two speeding, one passing in a no-passing zone, two failure to stop at stop/yield sign, one safety belt violation, one giving false name to officer and one disorderly.
