Police Report

Between Dec. 7 and Dec. 14, the Barnesville Police Department made six arrests, including Kami Quick, 37, of 296 Rivers Road in Williamson, driving while license suspended; Chaisen Bellew, 27, 191 Will Franklin Road in Thomaston driving while license suspended; Andrew Bloodser, 48, 504 Woodland Drive, Barnesville, disorderly conduct and obstruction; Joshua Alexander, 24, 605 Grove Street, Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Justin Owusu, 26, 782 Lyons Street, Barnesville, resisting arrest and a warrant out of Spalding County; and Denis Caslin, 24, 96 Washington Street, Barnesville, probation violation. There were 196 calls for service, including five for fighting or disorderly conduct, four for animal or reptile complaints, 34 security checks, one theft, one prowler, one threat, 12 domestic problems, 16 meet in person, 31 foot patrols, 24 suspicious persons or vehicles, 20 stopping person or vehicle, four speeding autos, one accident, two ambulances needed, 10 convoys/escorts, one bond approval, two civil matters, 13 alarms activated, one drug traffic, one damage to property, four harassing phone calls, two needs assistance, one special detail, two prisoner/subject pickups and two unwanted persons. There were 24 citations issued including one for animal leash law violation, two possession of marijuana less than one ounce, five speeding, two driving while license revoked, one expired tag, one failure to yield when entering intersection, three failure to stop at a yield sign, one tag light required, one safety belt violation, one loud noise/music, one disorderly public drunk, one disorderly public nuisance, one resisting arrest, one criminal trespass and two obstructions.
