Between Saturday, Sept. 19 and Friday, Aug. 25, The Barnesville police department made six arrests:Ronald Fowler, 735 Kilkenny Cir., Lithonia, theft by shoplifting; Steve Freeman, 2950 Juliette Rd., Forsyth, failure to stop at stop sign and driving while license suspended.Phillip Norman, 814 Greenwood St., Barnesville, possession of alcohol underage;William Shaw, 260 Mill St., Barnesville, indecent exposure;Jordan Warren, 77 Spur Lane, Hiram, possession of marijuana;Kathy Wilson, 448 Oakridge Dr., Thomaston, possession of marijuana.Officers answered 84 calls for service including three accidents, 12 alarms, one EMS assist, 10 building security checks, two crowd control, five damage to property, two disturbances, one dog complaint, 17 escorts, four fights, one gas drive off, four harassment, one indecent exposure, one juvenile complaint, one noise complaint, one prowler, one sexual assault, one shoplifting, one shots fired, 10 suspicious persons/vehicles and one theft. They issued 14 citations including one driving while license suspended, two failure to stop at stop sign, one open container, one parking violation, one possession of alcohol underage, two possession of marijuana, one shoplifting and four speeding.
