Police Report

Between Saturday, July 2 and Monday, July 11 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: James May, 30, 55 Whitman Street, Zebulon, aggravated battery and resisting arrest; Tammy Sullivan, 45, 893 Veterans Parkway, Barnesville, obtaining/attempting to obtain dangerous drugs; Kevan Moore, 40, 102 Rose Avenue, Barnesville, driving while license suspended or revoked; Cain West, 36, 201 Southland Drive, Apt. B6, Barnesville, DUI and open container; Quincy Searcy, 26, 107 Jackson Street, Barnesville, driving with suspended tag and driving without a license; Tony Goddard, 55, 114 Jackson Street, Barnesville, disorderly (public drunk); Briana Goggins, 21, 225 Byrd Road, Culloden, criminal trespass; Christopher Bailey, 37, 114 Sanders Court, Barnesville, theft by receiving stolen property and financial transaction card fraud; Willie Talmadge, 20, 109 Kate Court, Barnesville, theft by shoplifting. There were 325 calls for service including: one fight, 12 animal complaints, 95 security checks, two thefts, one prowler, two burglaries, 25 domestics, one fraud, 58 foot patrols, 37 suspicious persons/vehicles, one speeding, six accidents, two intoxicated pedestrians, nine escorts, 13 alarms, three damage to property and two 911 hangups. They issued 16 citations including: one driving while license suspended, one driving without a license, one driving with suspended tag, three speeding, one DUI, two open container, one theft by shoplifting, three disorderly conduct, one resisting arrest, one criminal trespass and one no thru trucks.
