Police report

Between Monday, September 12 and Monday, September 19 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Charles Williams, 33, 131 Popular Point Terrace, Griffin, criminal trespass, obstruction and disorderly conduct; Xavier Slaughter, 24, 10545 Georgia Highway 87, Juliette, simple battery and disorderly conduct; Quinton Carter, 25, 131 Cherry Street, Barnesville, disorderly conduct; Daquan Howell, 24, 507 Brentwood Boulevard, Palmetto, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; Robert Phillips, 47, 2 Woodruff Street, Barnesville, disorderly (public drunk); Kenneth Wilson, 23, 55 Waters Edge Court, Griffin, DUI; Cody Lanier, 23, 1537 Gaulding Road, Concord, disorderly conduct; Jonathan Wilson, 29, 411 Johnstonville Road, Barnesville, possession of marijuana. There were 177 calls for service including: eight fights, two animal complaints, one juvenile, 28 security checks, three thefts, two loud music, two criminal trespass, one prowler, one welfare check, one threat, three burglaries, 16 domestics, 20 meet in person, five foot patrols, 25 suspicious persons/vehicles, 18 stopping persons/vehicles, two suicide or attempt, one speeding, seven accidents, two hit and runs, 11 escorts, two bond approvals, 12 alarms, one fire and three damage to property. They issued 27 citations including: two possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, one move over for emergency vehicles, one speeding, one leaving the scene of an accident with injury or damage, one DUI, one failure to maintain lane, one following too closely, one failure to stop at stop/yield sign, one headlight violation, one safety belt violation, two open containers, 10 disorderly, one criminal trespass, two obstruction and one no thru trucks.
