Police report

Between Monday, October 10 and Monday, October 11 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Quincy Searcy, 26, 107 Jackson Street, Barnesville, obstructing law enforcement officers; Jordan Walton, 18, 507 Ward Drive, Barnesville, criminal trespass and possession of alcohol underage; Jerome Harris, 24, 201 Parkview Drive, Barnesville, warrant out of Upson County; Randy Haney, 51, 399 Whatley Road, Griffin, theft by shoplifting; Kevin Buffalo, 39, 129 Thornberry Trail, Jackson, possession of methamphetamine; Yoniecia Wilson, 32, 206 Chaffin Street, Barnesville, simple battery. There were 165 calls for service including, five fights, two animal complaints, 12 security checks, four thefts, two shoplifting, one loud music, four burglaries, seven domestics, 14 meet in person, 20 foot patrols, 23 suspicious persons/vehicles, 34 stopping persons/vehicles, five accidents, 17 escorts, one civil matter, 12 alarms, two fires and one damage to property. They issued 31 citations including: one expired tag, one driving while license suspended or revoked, one driving without a license, one operating w/learner’s permit, one failure to maintain insurance, one driving with suspended tag, one move over law, eight speeding, one leaving the scene of an accident with injury/damage, one following too closely, five failure to stop, one headlight violation, one safety belt violation, one possession of alcohol underage, one shoplifting, one simple battery, one criminal trespass, one obstruction and two no thru trucks.
